Northern Quarter's illustrious bar The Blue Pig's winter food menu uses fresh, locally sourced, seasonal produce to create innovative dishes with a distinctive Piggy spin.


Our BURGERS are the stuff legends are made of! House favourites The Blue Pig Burger, Charred Chilli & Cannellini Falafel (VV) and Chipotle & Manchego are joined by new creations Chargrilled Malaysian Chicken and Lemon Thyme Crusted Buffalo Mozzarella (V).


MAINS now include Crispy Buttermilk Chicken, alongside house classics Pimms & Ginger Pork Belly, Buffalo Trace St Louis Ribs, and Crisp Feta & Spinach Parcels (V).


Our TWISTED CLASSICS selection includes classic British dishes with a brilliant spin; the brand new Chilli Pulled Pork is paired with kimchi, crispy noodles and pickled beansprouts; Masala Battered Fish with Bombay spiced chips and a curry sauce; 8oz Flat Iron Steak with proper fat fries and Jerk Ham with fried duck egg, pineapple and proper fat chips.


The Pig’s excellent selection of SMALL PLATES has grown to include new creations such as Japanese Tiger Prawns with Pineapple Chilli Salsa, Chargrilled Malayan Chicken Skewers with Fresh Coconut Chilli Relish, Spicy Meatballs with Smoked Garlic Tomato Ragu and many more (see menu for details)! Pick your favourites just for you, or choose any 3 small plates for only £13; perfect for sharing over a bottle of wine or cocktails. 


The best Sunday Roasts in the Northern Quarter served every Sunday.  Regularly appearing in ‘Best of…’ lists, we serve locally sourced meats (including slow roast rosemary & lemon thyme studded lamb shoulder, or succulent cider braised rare breed pork belly with the crackliest of crackling).  And vegetarians need not worry with a beautiful vegetarian special served with all the trimmings.
