The Blue Pig’s food menu uses fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce to create innovative small plates, sharing boards and deli delights.
All our meat is from British farms, our eggs are free range and our fish is sustainably sourced. Our artisanal bread is baked by Lovingly Artisan in the Lake District and delivered fresh each morning, and our cheese’s are some of the Uk’s finest. We serve quite simply the best roast dinner on the planet, so Sundays are not to be missed!
The highlight of The Blue Pig’s food menu is our Deli Counter, which houses a mouth-watering charcuterie and cheese selection where there’s always a new delicacy to try. Think sage, mustard & cider salami, or venison salami with green peppercorns, fresh oysters with your choice of dressing, or crispy devilled whitebait. Cheeses will be on rotation but will include the award-winning Perl Wen Brie from Wales and the wonderful Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese.
The Deli Specials are freshly prepared by our chefs each day and include market fresh fish, tortilla or quiche of the day, and a rainbow of different salads. Our artisanal bread is baked by our friends at Lovingly Artisan in the Lake District; it’s baked with northern soul and delivered fresh each morning. We love it with some of our homemade chutneys; choose tomato and chilli or gooseberry and sage.
Our excellent selection of Small Plates includes feta-stuffed crispy olives with romesco yoghurt, braised chicory with cider, thyme & smoked bacon, pork crackling with fennel & coriander, beetroot falafel scotch duck egg, courgette fritters with aioli, and many more (see menu for details)!
The cheese and charcuterie selection is available as your choice of 3 for £7 or 5 for £10 which paired with nibbles and small plates is the perfect menu for sharing over a bottle of wine or cocktails.
Every Sunday The Blue Pig’s food menu brings you the best Sunday Roasts in the Northern Quarter (we think on the planet!). Regularly appearing in ‘Best of…’ lists…, we serve slow roasted British meats including; rosemary & lemon thyme studded lamb shoulder, braised brisket of beef or succulent cider braised rare breed pork belly with the crackliest of crackling. And vegetarians and vegans need not worry, we always have a beautiful vegan and veggie roast served up every week, with all the trimmings.
Nothing goes better with our Sunday Roast than one of our quality wines, a pint of ale or one of our craft bottle beers.
